The Boys & Girls Clubs make a difference in today’s youths**, engaging, inspiring and empowering kids and teens of all ages and interests.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS

According to a 2016 National Youth Outcomes Report, Club Members that participated in Power Hour & Project Learn missed 87% fewer school days when compared with non-Club Members.

Drama Matters (7 Years & Older):

In partnership with TNT, Drama Matters is a drama education program for Clubs that encourage Club Members to engage in hands-on activities that help build self-confidence, sparks creativity and boosts academic achievement.

Power Hour & Project Learn (All Ages):

Our daily educational committment to reinforce academic enrichment and school engagement, assisting them with their homework and school studies through strategies, activities, resources and information to create an engaging homework help and tutoring environment.

Image Makers (All Ages):

This nationally recognized program enables youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through the appreciation of photography.

Money Matters (Teens):

This program promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club Members, helping them learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses and pay for college.

National Fine Arts Exhibit (All Ages):

This year-round program encourages artistic expression among Club Members through drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture displayed at local and regional exhibits.

Summer Brain Gain (All Ages):

One week modules that are fun and themed, they include activities that are aligned with common core anchor standards.

GOOD CHARACTER & CITIZENSHIP

According to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America youth outcome data, 90% of Club Members who attend Clubs regularly say they can stand up for what is right, even if their friends disagree.

Keystone (Teens):

Keystone is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s ultimate teen program. Our Keystone program provides leadership development opportunities for youth to participate in activities, both in and out of the Club, in three focus ares: academic success, career preparation and community service. With the guidance of an adult advisor, Keystone aims to positively impact teens, their Club and local communities.

Smart Girls (All Ages):

A powerful program that provides health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement for girls.

Torch Club (10-12 Years Old):

Our Tween leadership program for boys and girls aged 10-12, our Torch Club is a powerful vehicle that helps Club Staff meet the special character development needs of our younger adolescents at a critical stage in their lives.

Youth of the Year (Teens):

The Youth of the Year program is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier recognition program, fostering a new generation of leaders that are fully prepared to live and lead in a diverse, global and integrated world economy.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLES

According to a recent Harris study, 80% of Club alumni said “the Club had a positive impact on their attitude towards fitness and health.” Some of the programs we offer are:

Passport 2 Manhood (11 Years & Older):

A program for boys aged 11 and up, teaching responsibility through sessions that focus on specific aspects of character and manhood through highly interactive activities.

Triple Play (All Ages):

A comprehensive health and wellness program that strives to improve the overall health by increasing daily physical activity, teaching them about good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.
