Thanks to a generous $50,000 grant by the Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Club, the Bernardo Sunrise Club was founded in September of 2006. The "Sunrise" Club serves youth out of room 710 at Bernardo Yorba Middle School. Activities include a computer lab, arts & crafts room and 10 networked X-Boxes. Outside activities as well as cooking classes, a drama club, and a basketball team are just part of the fun! Transportation from Glenknoll Elementary to Bernardo is available. In addition, the Bernardo staff walk children from Fairmont Elementary School to the Bernardo Club on a daily basis.
